Cocolocks wants you to get the most out of your new luscious locks. Please read the guidelines below to ensure the health and longevity of your hair extensions.

It is to be expected that within the first few days of hair extension application you may feel slight discomfort or tension as they adjust to your natural hair. Do not wash your hair for 48-72 hours after application to allow for maximum adhesion.

Wash day we lose approximately 100 strands of hair a day that would generally fall free from the scalp, but with hair extensions they are captured by the tape. This is completely normal and shouldn’t be interpreted as hair loss caused by your extensions.

Take extra care when washing your hair and do not apply conditioner to the roots. Always use our Loop Brush before washing and DO NOT brush your extensions when hair is wet. When applying heat (i.e. straighteners, hair dryers) ensure they are kept away from the root/tape area as this can damage the extensions.

We highly recommend the use of our quality hair care products when prolonging the overall lifespan of your extensions. We cannot guarantee the same level of quality or success with the use of other third party products. Applying OLAPLEX Bond Smoother and OLAPLEX Bonding Oil will help strengthen, hydrate and moisturise to ensure that you have the healthiest hair possible.

It is recommended that every 4-8 weeks you book in for a Hair Extensions Refill service. This includes removal, wash, dry, retake and reattach of your Cocolocks hair extensions. It is required that you wash your hair the day of or day before your refill appointment for best results.

Cocolocks is not liable and takes no responsibility if your extensions are coloured or tampered with by anyone other than certified Cocolocks hair extension specialists. We do not accept exchanges/refunds on hair extensions as part of the Public Health & Wellbeing Act 2008.
